Reference photoThe day before: is anything short?
A readiness check lays out the next window: how many pills, roughly how long, what is short against your projected stock, and what changed since last fill (a new medicine, a ceased one, a dose that moved). Shortfalls go straight onto a pharmacy run or into a message to your pharmacy. Then a pick list of every pack to pull from the cupboard.
The fill: one medicine at a time
Each step shows the name, strength and photo if you have added one, the big number to count out, where it goes (“1 in every Morning and Evening”) and a counting hint for awkward ones. Nothing is skipped silently: skipping needs a reason and is listed at the end. Put the phone down mid-fill and it resumes exactly where you stopped.
The finish: a recount, not a guess
With every pack in your hand, an optional recount sets on-hand to what you counted plus what you placed. Days-left and reorder dates become exact to the pill. Then Your box shows the fortnight as a grid you can hold up against the real thing, with what every Morning and Evening compartment should hold.
What it won't do. It won't open the packs, and it won't count pills with the camera or declare a box “verified”: a false all-clear is the dangerous case, so the app gives you a picture to compare against rather than a verdict. The placement is a restatement of the schedule you entered. It is not dosing advice, and there are no streaks, no adherence scores and no reminders tied to compartments.

Built by someone who lives on a dozen scripts
After one too many Sunday nights finding an empty pill box, one too many owing scripts at the pharmacy, and one too many GP visits guessing which repeats were left, I built the app I couldn't find. Not another pharmacy ordering app. The missing layer underneath: what do I actually have, when does it run out, and what do I need to ask my GP for. Is ScriptTracker medical advice?
No. ScriptTracker is a personal organisation tool. It gives no dosing, clinical or medication advice. The box fill restates the schedule you entered; it does not suggest doses. Always confirm medication questions with your pharmacist or GP.
How does the dosette box fill work?
Turn on Dosette box in Settings and tell it your box: 7, 14 or 28 days, one to four slots a day (Morning, Midday, Evening, Bedtime), and your fill day. Each medicine gets a slot in its Dose & stock screen, or a “keep in pack” switch for pens, liquids and as-needed ones. The day before, a readiness check shows what is short, what changed since last fill and which packs to gather. The guided fill takes you one medicine at a time with the count and where it goes. At the end an optional recount makes your days-left figures exact, and Your box shows the fortnight as a grid you can check against the real box. Off by default, and invisible until you turn it on.
Where is my information stored?
On your device, with optional private iCloud sync you control. There's no ScriptTracker account, and no advertising or third-party analytics.
How much does ScriptTracker cost?
ScriptTracker is free for 30 days with nothing locked. After that it is $14.99 AUD a year or $1.99 AUD a month, billed through the App Store, and you can cancel anytime in your Apple subscriptions. Your records stay readable and exportable whether or not you subscribe.
What happens after the 30-day trial if I don't subscribe?
Your records stay readable and exportable. Stock forecasts, reorder reminders, dose reminders and starting a guided fill pause until you subscribe, so dates already shown may go out of date. Script-expiry, exhausted-repeat, discard-soon and owing reminders keep arriving.
Can I import an eScript link?
Yes. Share or paste the eScript link from your SMS and ScriptTracker fetches the official eRx page, once, only when you ask, to fill in the details for you to review before saving. Paper scanning and manual entry work too.
Can I add paper scripts?
Yes. Scan a paper repeat on your iPhone and review the details before saving. Personal details aren't extracted into app fields, and ScriptTracker never invents a scannable code for a paper script.
Can I track medicines that don't need a script?
Yes. When you add a medicine manually, switch off “Needs a prescription”. It gets the same pill count, run-out forecast, reminders and place in your dosette box as everything else, without repeats or script expiry. It still appears on your GP summary, marked as needing no script, so your doctor sees the full picture.
Can I track medicines for someone else?
Yes. Profiles keep each person's scripts, stock, box and reminders separate on the same iPhone. There are no accounts or shared logins; it all lives on your phone.
Is ScriptTracker only for iPhone?
Yes, for now. ScriptTracker is a native iPhone app (iOS 17 or later) with optional private iCloud sync between your own devices. There's no Android or web version.
